The ops console

The manager's desk in Reserve: the dashboard, the planner, every reservation, the guest directory, and the admin rooms.

The ops console is the Manager surface. It opens on a desktop; on a tablet you land on the floor manager and can switch up to it deliberately, and on a phone it is not offered at all.

The rail has two groups:

  • Service: Dashboard, Planner, Reservations, Guests.
  • Admin: Users, Guest app, Floor setup, Outlets, Settings.

Along the top sit the outlet pill, a search field, the clock and the requests bell.

Dashboard

A segmented Tonight · Week · Month control, with a stepper for walking back through earlier windows.

Tonight’s service leads with four live figures: Covers booked against capacity, Seated now with a meter, On waitlist with the quoted wait, and Occupancy with a meter.

Under it, a band of eight measures for the chosen window, each with a change chip against the window before it:

Measure What it counts
Bookings All statuses.
Walk-ins and waitlist Bookings by source.
No-shows Confirmed, never arrived.
No-show rate Of confirmed bookings.
Avg party size Covers per booking.
Tables turned Seated turns in the range.
Seated from waitlist Waiting parties seated.
Cancelled Cancelled in the range.

Then four reports: Covers by time, Covers by source (online, walk-in, phone, waitlist), Table turns, and Guest history ranked by visits. Each can be exported as a CSV.

Planner

The same service, drawn as a Day, Week or Month view, for looking ahead rather than at tonight.

Reservations

The room for working through requests in bulk. Four figures across the top: Incoming, the requests waiting on you, then Today, Last 7 days and Last 30 days by requests received.

Four tabs, each with a count: Incoming (pending), Confirmed (confirmed, arrived, seated and completed), Declined (rejected, cancelled and expired), and All.

The toolbar has a day jump, a search across reference, name and phone, a Sound alerts switch, Export CSV, and Accept all that fit on any day with pending rows. Each row shows the time, guest, tables and status, with Accept and Decline on the pending ones. See Requests, changes and holds.

Guests

Your guest directory: who has visited, how often, and what you know about them. Guest phone numbers and email addresses are a manager-only permission. A booking opened by someone without it shows a labelled lock rather than quietly hiding the field.

Admin

  • Users manages the Reserve team. Choosing a role shows, read-only, which surfaces that role reaches.
  • Guest app is your booking page and your booking rules. See Booking policies and setup.
  • Floor setup is the floor plan, the slots, the covers, the zones and the closures. Same page.
  • Outlets lists each outlet with its code, its booking page, whether Reserve is enabled and whether it is visible to guests.
  • Settings is read-only: your own profile and the outlet this console manages, both marked Managed by your administrator. Your name, role and contact details are changed in the Maska console. See Users and access.
