Campaigns

Put a card in a targeted group of guests' wallets: the five audiences, the four offers, sending now or later, and what you can read afterwards.

A campaign puts a card in every targeted guest’s wallet. If they have allowed it, a notification lands on their phone too.

That is the whole channel. Campaigns do not send WhatsApp messages and do not send texts. The card appears in the wallet whether or not a guest allowed notifications; the notification is the part consent gates.

Campaigns need campaign access. Without it the screen says Campaigns aren’t yours to run, and names the remedy.

The list

Newest first, as cards rather than a table. Each one carries:

  • The audience, in small caps, and once it has been sent the number of members it reached beside it: 1,284 MEMBERS · ALL MEMBERS.
  • A status pill.
  • The campaign’s name and the message exactly as guests read it.
  • Reached and visited.

Stop appears on the footer of anything still running or waiting.

Status What it means
SCHEDULED Composed and waiting. Nothing has gone out.
LIVE Sent. The cards are in wallets and the window is open.
ENDED The window closed on its own.
CANCELLED You stopped it.

Building one

New campaign opens one page, not a wizard, with a live preview of what the guest will see beside it.

1. Name. For you, not the guest, though it does title the card. Up to 80 characters.

2. Audience. Five, each showing how many members are in it right now:

Audience Who is in it
All members Everyone holding your card.
Stamps expiring soon A streak about to lapse.
Lapsed 30+ days No visit in a month.
Birthdays this month Members who told you their birthday month.
Reward ready, unredeemed Something the counter already owes them.

Blocked members are never in any audience.

3. Offer. Four, each with its consequence written under it:

  • Bonus stamp on next visit. One extra stamp lands the next time they settle a bill.
  • Double stamps window. Every visit earns two stamps while the campaign runs. This one creates a booster on Programme rules for as long as it lasts.
  • Free add-on with purchase. The counter sees the promise and honours it. No stamps change.
  • Message only. Just the message. Nothing is added to their card.

4. Message on the card. Up to 240 characters. It starts written for you, carrying your brand name, and stays that way until you type over it.

5. Delivery. Send now, or Schedule and pick a time. The time is your local time, and guests are messaged the moment it arrives. A time in the past is refused with “That time has passed. Pick a later one.”

One button finishes it: Launch campaign. There is no draft, no save for later and no second confirmation, so the button stays disabled until the campaign is actually sendable and the reason is written under it: “Give the campaign a name first”, “Pick a time to send it”.

You cannot send a campaign before your loyalty card exists.

After it goes out

The audience is worked out again at send time, not when you composed it, so a campaign scheduled on Tuesday for Friday reaches the people who are lapsing on Friday. That means the count you saw while building and the reached figure afterwards can differ, and the second one is the true one.

Two numbers come back on the card:

  • Reached, snapshotted when it sent, so it never drifts.
  • Visited, counted live: how many of those people have since settled a bill or been scanned at the counter while the campaign was open.

A campaign runs for 14 days and then ends itself.

Stopping one

Stop works before and after sending. Banners disappear from every open wallet, an unclaimed offer stops being honoured, and a double-stamps booster switches off.

What has already been sent stays sent. A stopped campaign shows as CANCELLED, which is a decision rather than a fault, and is not drawn as an error.

What guests see

The campaign arrives as a banner over their card, reading LIVE NOW until they claim it and CLAIMED afterwards, carrying your name, your message and the offer as its own line: “+1 stamp on your next visit”, “Double stamps while this runs”, “Show this at the counter”.

For an add-on or a bonus, the counter is shown the promise alongside the guest’s card, so somebody honours it without the guest having to argue for it.
